DESCRIPTION
The simplest of the mining maps: it opens a repeatable dig in the Ash Heap that pays out metal scrap and XP.
The Miner's map is cheaper than the Prospector's and Excavator's maps but works the same way: inspect it in the Pip-Boy notes, the map is used up and one of 18 named dig sites lights up on the world map, from the Burning Mine to Mount Blair. The mound is easy to miss, so crouching helps bring up the prompt. The cache holds metal scrap, aid, ammo, caps and XP. U-Mine-It! machines sell this map only once a day, so a stack of them is a handy source of metal.
