Black titanium is used to craft and repair Excavator power armor, for higher-level power armor and mods, and to repair the cultist blade. Gathering it is slow: the ore comes from deposits such as the Gorge Junkyard and must be smelted at a chemistry station, while deathclaws drop small amounts. It cannot be bulked, which makes a large stockpile even harder to build.
